Good morning! Guess what – I have started making progress on my list! Slow progress, but steady. I’ve come up with a random sampling of movies that “everyone” has seen (Avatar, The Passion of the Christ, and Ghost to start) and made a looong list of books that I “should” read.
And this weekend, I accidentally started one of my other tasks: eating something that I don’t like. Actually, it’s near the top of my don’t like list. And I’m pleased to say I did it really easily! Yay for trying new things!!
My wonderful friend Melissa offered to cook us dinner on Saurday, and so we went over to hang out with her and her husband. We brought Herman to hang out with their dog.
And Melissa made pasta, with broccoli, sausage and….mushrooms!

They were big enough that I could have easily picked ‘em out if I wanted to, but I didn’t even think of it. I ate them. Each one. And they were fine! Although they WERE sautéed in garlic and added to a dish that tasted yummy. I still think I’ll pass on the big raw mushrooms that some people add to salad.

Side note – Herman has no trouble playing with/pestering a big dog and it’s partly cause of his buddy Clifford. Here they are around 2 years ago:

And here they are last night:

Nothing like good company and good food (and i wasn’t the silly picking things-out-of-her-food girl! yay!)
Sliced mushrooms + butter + RED WINE = Mmmmmmmm……
(TRUST!)
ps. Good job on the list progress. I’m still visualizing everything. Y’know… being the ball & such!
:)
i’m visualizing myself doing yoga or pilates everyday…but it’s not happening for some reason!
Come to think of it…
Sliced mushrooms + butter + WHITE WINE = Mmmmmmmmm….
(trend?)
i like this trend…minus the mushrooms!! hehe.
